  • myKwantlen Email Defect
    If an email sent to a myKwantlen address contains both an embedded image(e.g, image signature) and an attachment, any reply will contain only the original email. Nothing the student contributes will be captured by the myKwantlen email console.

    Workaround #1: Avoid using both embedded images and attachments in emails to students in a single message.

    Workaround #2: Compose a new email, rather than replying directly.
  • There is a known issue with Internet Explorer and myKwantlen. Please use compatibility mode when accessing this site.

    • One time instructions: Under Tools, click Compatibility View Settings, and add .kwantlen.ca. to the list. The setting will remain in effect for all future logins from this computer.

  • Personal Identification Number (PIN) and Login enhancements in Online Self-Service:

    • PIN should be a minimum of 6 characters to a maximum of 10 with at least one number.

    • After you have logged in, please go into Online Self-Service and set up your 3 security questions. These will be used to recover or reset a forgotten password(or PIN).


    If it is your first time logging in, you are strongly advised to go to Online Self-Service and follow instructions to configure your new security profile. Any changes to your PIN will be synchronized to myKwantlen, Moodle, student and faculty wireless access and student computing labs.
